Most of India’s population lives in rural, urban backward area. Especially in remote rural areas where there is no medical facility and guidance in case of emergency

But now the medical course has become so expensive 99% doctors are focusing less on disease, more on money, so finding MBBS in rural area poverty area is equivalent to finding moon on amavasya night.

Paramedical Technology  is only capable of removing & diagnosing different diseases, it has given way to career opportunities and played an important role in improving the health conditions of people. Paramedics are the key players in the Health & Medical Sector. Without paramedics, the entire Health Industry is out of gear and is almost non-functionary. If there are no Paramedics, there is neither money nor any profit for doctors, hospitals, private clinics, etc.

There is an increasing realization on the importance of paramedical personnel in the health sector, especially in accident and trauma care. Paramedics are a boon to nursing homes and the dreams for students, who have not been able to become full-fledged medical professionals. Health care delivery systems are undergoing rapid changes and the demand for skilled paramedical personnel is on the rise. Almost all the diagnostic procedures are carried out by the paramedical staffs and they have emerged a vital cog in the wheel of the health care delivery system. The population explosion coupled with the mushrooming of private and corporate hospitals has provided numerous opportunities for skilled paramedics.

Travancore Paramedical Council (TPC) is an autonomous body for national importance  and aims to provide services in basic /specialized /advance areas of Paramedical Science . Travancore Paramedical Council (TPC) was established on 2007 Governed by WHRDE Registered under Indian Literary/ Scientific/ cultural/SR Act XXI/1860.This body working under its own constitution. Travancore Paramedical Council is the apex National Professional body of Paramedical Technologists of Indian origin working across the globe. Travancore Paramedical Council is the umbrella term used to denote all Paramedical Technology Professionals working in various streams .

Travancore Paramedical Council (TPC) is in strict conformity with the constitution of India under Articles 19(1) g, 29 & 30 and  incorporated under the legislation of government of India.Under Human Rights Protection Act 1993 autonomous bodies have been given special protection & consideration. (for further details refer air 1993 sc-2178.) . TPC has guaranteed protection from supreme court,India as per the SLA(CIVIL) No.29168/2011) . TPC is a volontary organization stands for the health walfare of society through paramedical science education & Paramedical Technologists.

We stand for the Comprehensive Paramedical Technology Professionals  Development, Quality of life , health of society through Continuing Education & Training and making the strategic ways for the capacity building of practicing professionals. Travancore Paramedical Council accords prime importance to the public health. The health of the people  depends primarily on adequate nutrition, health education, proper arrangement for the prevention of disease and proper facilities for the care and cure of sick.

TPC connects the innovations in Paramedical Technology and Medical devices Industry with day to day practice of clinical medicine through constant updates to the professionals in a fruitful manner.
